To open my loft hatch, I normally just push it up with the end of the pole and the spring releases the door. It is not opening and I can't get into the loft to see what is wrong. Can't take the hinges off as these are also above the door. Has anyone please got any suggestions on how to deal...

My sprung loft hatch door is stuck. Usually you push it up and it opens. The hinge is on the upper side of the door, so I can't get this off. Therefore, I can't get into the loft at all. Any ideas on how to get into the loft apart from sawing a hole in the door?
