That’s why I thought it was odd.
In my case, when I come down in the morning I could have just entered the code to unset it. Instead I will need to grab the keys and use the fob.

I have the Euro 46 keypad. It’s worked fine since it was installed but I have recently discovered an issue.
The alarm sets and unsets fine with the key fobs.
The alarm sets fine with a user code or the manager code but no code will unset it.
All user accounts and the manager account are...
Do I leave the red and white wire connected?
Is a shorting link just a bit of wire bridging the two terminals together? Do I leave this connected too or remove it?
I've changed the battery in the box under the stairs. The old battery was down to 3v so the new one should help.
The tamper light is still on though. What do I do to clear it? I've got the lid off the box still but the tamper switch it held down with some tape. Entering the code on the keypad...
I'll look at getting a new battery. Might be a silly question but if the battery is faulty what is powering the alarm when the power goes off? The alarm goes off for ages so it would seem that the battery has plenty of charge.
When the power was turned off recently the alarm went off so I'm assuming that means the battery is ok. What do I do to reset the system while pressing the tamper switch?
