I didn't realise the boiler would wait for the valve to change. I just removed the valve and replaced and it appears to be working. I also have a spare valve which someone gave me so will change if I get a further problem. Looks like the boiler insurance got away with it again !!!

I'm as sure as I can be (that its gravity HW). How do I check ? There is a 3 way valve. Does the bolier wait for this to change before starting ?

Its a gravity hot water, pumped heating. Boiler is a. Glow worm ultimate.

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction ? Firstly I`m not sure if this is relevant but I returned from a few days away and when I tried the boiler the fan had seized. I have lubricated this and it works fine when I select HW only. I have checked the room stat and its working...

could it be the pump ? The fuse blows as soon as I power up the boiler, without the programmer calling for the boiler to fire ? :roll:

Fuse F2 has blown on my boiler. I replaced the fuse. As soon as power is put on to the boiler (without switching on controller for hot water or heating) the fuse blows. Is it the PCB ? Any help please.
