Don't think it's UK, but this film of motor racing presumably in the 20s is compelling viewing. Very brave men before H&S. Shows how much progress we've made in car safety. Guessing that some in the film didn't walk away.

Purchase price of electric cars will break you. Unless you're a big risk taker and not worried about residuals - then dipping a toe in the endless supply of Chinese tin may be the way to go.
