Could you explain a bit more as i am just a beginner.

Hi all I know the alarm system can operate garage doors and various accessories. Its something id like to do in the future. How do you go about doing this? What accessories do you need? How do you set it up? any help will be appreciated.

It was fine - i read the manual quite a bit to get my head around what options there was and to give me an idea on how i wanted to setup the alarm. I had a few issues which people on here helped me with but i managed to get it up and running almost straight away.

How do I change the keypad settings?

What i want is area A for full set and area B to set all down stairs but leave ones sensor unset (upstairs). So would i set inputs 1-3(downstairs) as A+B and input 4 as A only?

Sorry all just tried again yes I type the code in and get the enginner menu. God knows what I was doing wrong initially.

1111 is a default engineer code that I know , I have not set the system with any code as it's the first time it's been switched on and I have not programmed any user codes

Ok will give that a go although I'm sure I've tried it and the code stayed on screen as ****and then went back to the main screen.

Issue resolved - this was a faulty unit - system had been replaced
