You seriously believe they're impartial??!!! I've been in the trade over forty years, so you can take it from me they are far from the best boiler. As for Which, wiping your rsole is all that is good for - a loads of rubbish!!
It'll go brittle & deteriate if not painted. We used MUPVC for years & it was great, but moved over to ABS - which is not so good & can discolour very quickly.
Same here Sandy, 16Bar hydronic test with water. On wee jobs & a clear site I Would use a foot pump & air for quickness, this is mostly done for 30 minutes while it's a tidy up, on a empty site at the end of the day.....👍
Loctite 55 is by far your best option, it's very good at thread alinement.
A Plumbers' Merchants may have a sample they'll give you FOC. I know of one DaftyDIYer that got a wee sample & that was all he needed...... :wink:
