I didn't the guy at my wholesaler was intrigued to say the least and took the switches apart only to find "half a mechanism" and put it down to bad manufacturing. He reported the batch so maybe a run of dodgy switches.

Thanks EFL. Surprisingly both the MK the switches were faulty picked up 2 new ones this morning and worked first time. I will therfore playing the lottery this weekend as buying 2 and getting both faulty has to be some kind of sign, just wish I knew what the actual issue inside them was but hey...
