Hi WDIK thanks for replying. How would I test that? Would a thermostat failure make a noise like that?

Tonight our megaflo boiler started making a noise. We've listened all around the system as far as we can to try and pin the noise down but haven't been able to. The noise disappears when we switch the hot water to the off position, we normally have it set to constant. My wife is panicking and...
