Thank you - but where is the sensor located? Top, Bottom, side? I am trying to put something cold against it, to lower the temperature that the sensor is sensing (if you understand what I mean).

Thank you. But how does it sense the external temperature. The LCD indicates, what I think is the room temperature, so there must be a sensor somewhere, I would think.

Can anyone tell me where the external temperature sensor is on this thing? Will it be on the thermostat unit itself or will it be on the BDR?
