    I have also made a small nick on the mdpe when removing old olive... Would that be a problem? I slightly shaved it it's just under the nut past the olive. Thank you

    Hi I have a question. I have changed valve on main water pipe and noticed that pipe was missing about 4mm to be touching end of the compression fitting ( in the valve) Is it a major problem if the pipe doesn't hit the end in a compression fitting? Tyanks

    Update on my main water pipe. I have took it apart. And copper inner was inside. Happy as I don't know where I would take a new one. Olive was imperial as well with wraps of ptfe tape. I have removed the tape and tightened it using a paste. It was leaking so I took it apart and redone the joint...

    Hi I have a question. Changed the main valve on water main. I'm not sure has the insert been used inside the alcathene black pipe... It's imperial 1/2 not sure is it class C or D. Do you necessarily need an insert or will it be ok considering wall of pipe is thicker than in new metric mdpe...

    Hi I'm having problem in condensation only in one area where the membrane overlaps.... They were quite tight one on another (1st photo) where there joint and getting wet. I have created a bit of a loose space between them so the air can travel and dry it out. (2 Nnd and 3rd photo and a video)...

    Roof tile lap interlock

    Hi everyone I have the roof tile in one area where the lap interlock not laying fully flat at the end. Can this cause water leaks by water ingress and capillary action. Overlap is 9 cm and the pitch is not very high. Thanks for your opinions
