I need to add a stair threshhold to bridge the height difference of the floor and stairs. The floor is engineered and I bought a thresh when I bought the floor but wasn't sure what to get so took a punt.
So can I / should I use the purchased threshold strip of get something more suitable...
No. Not frequently below room temperature. I just thought the water might have dripped down but watched it for 30 min with immersion on and the water tap on and it was dry.It had a good teaspoonful of water I poured out the cap on first inspection. It is old and yeah. I'll get the immersion swapped.
Immersion is tripping and I found water , looked like condensation in cap.
I can't see any obvious leaking but there is oxidisation. The top connection looks a bit ropey!

Some bits ok and some bits rougher than tarzans feet. I tried to fix a bit with a brush and just made a mess. Picture attached.
I found it difficult to get in the swing with such...
Just read about the easyfill. That was plan B actually. I had a go at the two coat method. Just a small area but trying to fill that gap was tricky for a rookie.
Once second coat was on I left it for 15 mins then tried to flat it out but it was picking up a bit so guessing I should have tried to...
Got a small area to plaster around a window
and was wondering if it was best to fill this gap so it blended better or just follow the contour of the board?
I'm thinking fill the gap as it will look better?
