Thanks all, much appreciated! I'm going to go for a regular, heat only boiler, and perhaps later, convert to a pressurised HW cylinder, keeping the "primary circuit" vented. I now need to choose a bloody boiler! (Leaning towards a WB 30KW boiler)

Alas, there's a subtle but important difference, converting to a system boiler from regular, means a pressurised system, and fairly major work, ditto conversion to a combi, and question mark over existing pipework being pressured.

The title for this is wrong, it should read "Combi v Regular Boiler.

Thanks. My fault for not being clearer. I'd only be using nail gun on wooden decking. Composite usually comes with it's own clamp arrangement. Which is also very expensive.... Ideally I'd like to hear from folk who have had composite for a while.

Thanks, I'm well used to using a compressor, therefore it's not really an issue. Not sure what second finish means? If I opt for wood I'd likely only use a nail gun for this job. Was hoping for more experiences with composite, as I'm completely undecided ...
