both boards are going to be sent off today, so as long as i get 1 working board back i do not care if its the re-con or the original one, its a hotpoint not an indesit, machine details are as follows : WF321G 805150105.

i dont think it is the door switch,it locks when water is in the drum and unlocks a minute or so after, also it has caused no damage to the re-con pcb, the leg that blew off, if i follow the track it runs to J1 which is the main power feed i believe, the other side runs to pin 3 of J4. and i do...

extremely, the thing is me and my wife and kids moved into a furnished rented house for just over a year and the mother-inlaw's washing machine broke, so we lent them the hotpoint, we only got it back when we moved again 2 weeks ago :( and we got 4 kids, the latest (and final) is a 3 week old...

Thanks for all your help, I have only just had a good look at both boards side by side and they are slightly different, would that matter? i told them the correct model and the fact that it was a v4 version but the relays have different values on them, the old ones all say10A 250VAC 85 c then...

yeah i agree, have rang the company i got it from and they want me to send it back for testing, ur right it is a re-con board as its about half the price of a new one and i wouldn't know how to program it.

i don't think it can be anything to do with the motor, surely a fault in the motor would not bring the machine out of standby would it?

Wow, winders are few and far between mate, very rare trade, what a coincidence, right just ripped the motor out and checked the brushes, they are fine, bout 3cm left, the com could do with a clean but that is not causing the problem, this is really doin my head in now and if i hadn't already...

ok upon closer inspection it is not the pressure switch clicking, its the main control module, it sounds like a relay, however if i disconnect the connector from the pressure switch, i can still hear the relay go click, but the lights do not start flashing and the machine does not bring itself...
