why do the taps on my new bath keep working loose.Ihave tightened one of them up twice but it still works loose.They are tightened up with the flimsy looking plasticky nut under the bath which I dont want to over do as the bath is 8mm plastic.Is there a tip to this job.

Thanks for the replys lads.Apart from the cost why do plumbers still use copper the plastic and fittings are a lot easier to use but will there be a payback time when the joints start to fail.

I have a combi heating system and would like to alter one or two pipe runs myself.The system at present is all in 15mm copper pipe,could I use plastic in place of the copper pipe for the runs I want to alter.
