I have connected all black wire to neutral and red banded black to live. All lights are now working. Thank you so much. Do you mean connect earths together in a terminal box? New light doesn’t have an earth point.

Thanks - my mains tester screwdriver was showing the two I had put in with the red tape wire were live.

They don’t seem to be connected together. I’ve checked and the extractor fan is on a separate pull cord so don’t think this is powered by these wires. Thanks

Three on the right of the picture - there is an extractor fan so I think one of the wires could be for this. Thanks
