I am thinking of altering a window into a bay window.I know i dont need planing permission as i am not going beyond the existing canopy.but what are the building regulations needed . thanks.

I am thinking of putting in a bay window.There is already a window and canopy there.I am not altering the width or moving the lintel. I dont need plaining permision but what about building regulations.
