Thanks. I’ve attached a couple more pictures. I bought this outside of the U.K. so the plug isn’t U.K. and I use an adapter but a U.K. one will be even better to replace this with.

Yes I’m sure they’re just deep inside. move already replaced a few and each time I had to pull it out so it damages the wall slightly then when I can get a grip on the springs I push them to minimise the damage. I’ve just had enough of that method so thought I might be missing something and...

I’m not using led however some sockets have been holding for years while other makes fail after few months. Probably the heat as you say, shall I reduce the amps perhaps
