Okay thanks for the response. Could you please tell me if this is correct; The 2 wires in COM will go to the L terminal and the single wire from L1 should go to the terminal marked with the wave with arrow across..!? Sorry for being such an amateur.

Hi ya'll Please can anyone help. Single dimmer switch to replace. Old switch has 2 black wires going to COM and 1 black wire to L1. New switch has only 2 input points......a L and a wave with an arrow through (across). Is this new switch usable or should I source something else..? Thanks for...
