Thanks for answering - firstly I've searched for the manual and couldn't find it and secondly I kept my finger pressed down on the start button for several seconds and the machine started up - so all's fine but still don't know what was wrong with it and why the button was flashing ?! :roll:

My dishwasher Whirlpool ADP 9516 will not start. When I turn it on the Start button just flashes but the programme does not start - can anyone help me ?? :mrgreen:
