It's been happening for months now. The banging has got louder and louder and the erratic flow more severe. Need to resolve is getting more urgent as the problem bexomes more embarrassing. RL

When I turn on the cold water tap on the monobloc tap mounted on my kitchen sink I get horrendous banging and sometimes loud "whistling" apparently from the pipe beneath the tap coupled with erratic flow of cold water. Turning the tap on full eventually clears the problem but only till the next...
