Securing a pullup bar to underlying brick wall that has had an insulated stud wall built over it?

Thanks Fox. I will go for 25mm ply and span three studs

Securing a pullup bar to underlying brick wall that has had an insulated stud wall built over it?

Sounds like a good plan. The board will need to be fairly close to the ceiling to get the angle brackets to fix to the trusses. The pullup bar will need a good 20cm clearance from the ceiling - will having it fixed to the lower end of the board be an issue?

Securing a pullup bar to underlying brick wall that has had an insulated stud wall built over it?

The bottom is of course secured to the ground but I'm worried about the pullup bar effectively pulling the top out...

Securing a pullup bar to underlying brick wall that has had an insulated stud wall built over it?

I have a garage wall which used to be brick that has been converted. It now has a stud wall (4 by 2 treated timber) with 10cm insulation in between. This has a plasterboard and normal plastering for finish. Is there a way I can fix something through to the underlying brick when there is...
