Ideal1, what is a bit of a giveaway? That's it's the fused spur because it's still on at the wall? I know absolutely nothing about boilers etc but if someone would kindly tell me what a fuse spur is I will check if it's working. Thanks

An issue is MUCH worse than a problem lol. Neither the heating or the hot water will work. The boiler is just dead, it normally has a light on even when the heating/hot water is not in use but it is not alight now. Thanks
