don't know if it's normal, but i do know it's brand new it has been working fine for about a week (since the plimber was last there) and then today started giving trouble.. My tenants have told my that the arm of the float is as if the tank would have water in it, don't think there is any...

My header tank is not refilling, the ball valve which goes up and down is currently up, but there is not water in the tank !!! Have just spent a small fortune on a plumber to fi the lack of hot water and now this. Please help
