Update. Building regs came out and said it was fine as its a shared drainage and we have to go to the nearest downpipe.

No can't use the other neighbours as to far away. We can't have a soak away as the garden isn't long enough now. The only way to access the drain system is to dig up their patio as other neighbour has a conservatory. Don't think they would like that.

Yeah we are in a terrace and it's every other one. The builder is a friend of theirs. The wife hasn't liked us doing the extension from the beginning.

Hi We have had a single storey extension built and the guttering from that connects to our neighbours downpipe which then goes in a underground system. We live in terrace house and have never had a downpipe on our side, our original guttering connects to our other neighbours downpipe. Is it OK...
