No, it hasn't been painted over. Not sure if I get a screwdriver in there, but I will have a go.

This the closest I can get without zooming in, although I'm not sure it's any better than the first picture. Sorry.

There doesn't seem to be any way of getting anything underneath the cover, as far as I can tell, it's flush against the panel. It's in the ceiling so not easy to get a picture of.

This might seem like an obvious question, but I'm somewhat new to doing things myself. I need to replace my extractor motor, but it's behind with some sort of screw covers over them. I have attached a photo here, hopefully it's clear enough. How I earth do I get it unscrewed?
