It is a combi, grant vortex pro 26 oil external.

i might consider doing that depending on the options for control on the stat when i get it.

Right now i have one going to the thermostat and have it split 3 ways with a wago 222 connector in a junction box near the programmer, ill just disconnect the one going to the stat and leave the 2 going to the programmer and boiler.

Seems strange that im getting a bashing on here for trying to be responsible by building a bund around my tank to catch a spillage that would otherwise pollute the surrounding area in the event of a failure.

Building a bund would take away the risk though.

Well for a start i didnt start this thread and was not looking for advise what tank to buy.Someone suggested to the original poster that they could build a bund around it and i simply commented that that was what i had been planning to do.

Sorry but am i missing something here, people have been building bunds around oil tanks for decades.Are you trying to tell me that these people are all collecting any water drained out of the bund and taking it to a specialist waste facility.Is it better to have no bund at all so that if the...
