basin has a flat base, and sits on a 38mm countertop, then there is a vanity unit underneath, mainly for support for the sink and worktop.
Just wondering how to seal and secure everything.
If i've understood correctly, the second nut must be wider than the hole in the countertop for it to tighten up against. and the first nut is just securing the waste to the basin. Is that correct?

I am trying to source a suitable shelf bracket to support a countertop wash basin.
