Hi all. have a 3 gang light switch in my hallway that controls the porch light a wall light and the downstairs and upstairs hall/ landing lights I want to combine the porch and wall light into one switch therefore making it 2 gang. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

The thermostat on the hot water tank is set to 60°C. The boiler is a glow worm 30r system boiler and it's generating heat at 75°C.

I've just discovered there is a thermostat built in to the immersion (face palm) doh! That would make perfect sense. It was set to over 90°C so turned it down to something more reasonable. Thanks for the reply.

I have a system boiler and a hot water tank with a immersion heater. At present we use the hot water via the boiler to warm the tank. On occasion I've had to put the emersion on, or my children have, and have forgotten to turn it off. Leaving it continually bubbling away. What I want to know...

Came home today to find the hot water still heating despite when turned off or the thermostat kicking in. I gave in and made a trip to screwfix. I replaced the other actuator for hot water. Now all appears to work correctly now. Fingers crossed it stays like that. Wish I'd opted for a combi!
