I think a job that size would never be done for less than 2000. Get the professionals in to quote you. A leadwork specialist will cost more but do a better job than a roofer as we are trained to do it, Not only that but we can lead burn and I have never met a roofer that can leadburn or boss...
I am a plumber that specialises in the fitting of leadwork so for me I am biased towards the lead. Although more expensive it really is the best material to use for dorma windows. Once I have finished a lead job I know no matter the weather my jobs are watertight. Cheap pvc panels may blow off...
The bays where in fact just short of 3m in length and laid in code 10, grew muscles where I didnt know was possible haha. We was laying 40 bays a week and still had time to drink the coffee.
Thanks
steve
Code 5 can be placed down in lengths up to 1700 but that doesnt work out correct for a roll of lead thats 6m long. Always work to a length of 1500 and youll be fine. Put in a 50mm high upstand where applicable. Failing this get me in to do it lol
Thanks

I am a leadwork installer so am biased towards using leadwork. Code 5 on breathable felt will last for decades. Leadwork is the most expensive form of weathershielding but thats because it is the best
Thanks
