Update. Bubbling wasn't loaded with water?! Pulled back the carpet and got ready to drain rad....popped a bubble which cracked but was bone dry. None the wiser!

Thanks for the replies. Rad turned off. New carpet as well so might have to get it out sharpish.

Hi New to this so hope it works! Hoping to find out the cause of the paint bulges on our downstairs rad. Been in our home 3 years - its an old system, painted all the radiators when we moved in but no previous issues. Hoping it's just an external paint issue, we've had problems with a leaking...
