Many thanks oldbuffer. Unfortunately, the other nut is no more so I will do my best to find a suitable replacement. No joy on Amazon or eBay so will try local hardware and bathroom shops.

Hi all, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me identify the plastic washer thingy (for lack of a better description!) in the image below? They are tapped into holes in the underside of our bathroom sink, and the towel rail is then bolted into them to attach it to the sink. Thanks!
