Thanks Foxhole, Yep...that's exactly what I thought....however, can assure you it has removed the shine where the Vax shampoo resorvoir were standing for a while, and not wiped dry.

Matt finish (soft sheen) laminated worktop has a water mark i.e. the sheen removed in places after vax carpet shampoo solution was left for a while. Any body any idea how to restore please.
