I have checked the model number it is a mini S28. Should that unit be also on a sealed system?

I have an ideal mini gas central heating boiler. As soon as i turn it on it starts pitching water into the expansion tank in the attic. I can see the pump built into the boiler but i cannot see anywhere on it to turn it down. Has anyone any ideas as to what i can do?
