@DP - i've taken your advice and have dropped the CH temp on the boiler to 2 ish, and opened the lowest drain and opened the filling loop and managed to get a steady flow/trickle i was nervous about doing this and it took a bit of juggling but seems to be working First radiator looks to be done...

@gas112 Here is this morning‘s first drain down (see photo) I have used a clear container so it is easier to see the colour of the water I have taken a bottle as a sample when the container was completely full so I can do some litmus tests when they arrive today using the same volume of water...
