Corrie, I know this is an old post but how do you apply the stipple coat and how long do you leave it to dry before mortar bedding the verge tiles? I'm not using a stipple coat at present and I'm getting hairline cracks between the mortar and the cement board, so I'd like to try this stipple...

Do you remember if you used the plastic or aluminium clips on yours? I agree they do look nice...

Spent today trying to sort them out, so not sure. Sandtoft say they do some better clips now, but trailed round a load of roofing merchants all morning and they all say "nobody clips tiles". It's going to be another 4-5 days as far as I can tell by the time Sandtoft get some of the new style...
