    DO I REQUIRE A LINTEL ?????

    I HAVE REMOVED MY DOOR FRAME PARTIALLY, AT THE TOP THE IS A WOODEN BRACE ABOVE THAT IS A COURSE OF BRICKS NO CONCRETE LINTEL.... IF I REMOVE THE WOODEN BRACE WHAT EFFECT WILL THIS HAVE AS I NEED TO REMOVE IT TO FIT THE NEW DOOR FRAME??? PLEASE HELP ___________________________ Lynda...

    fitting new upvc door and window

    hi, Just a little bit of advice required on fitting. - do i need to use DPC (cill) when fitting the door? - how do i secure the cill? to the floor & frame?? - are 8 x 120 frame fixers ok? any other advice would be appreciated... thanks
