    Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT6053 On/Off Fault

Yup, still working fine; simply remove the switch and solder (or get a mate if you're not into it) two piece of copper wire one across the live and one acropss the neutral pcb pads, then use the wall switch. Cost zero!

    Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT6053 On/Off Fault

It is the mains switch which I've dismantled and small plastic bit that allows it to latch is broken; looks so flimsy bet loads have failed this way. Tried internet to source this saia burgess 3293 (says on bottom) pushbutton switch, but no luck; even spoke to Johnson Electric main agents in UK...

    Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT6053 On/Off Fault

Ta for info so far. Have now dismantled and reckon the power on/off switch is faulty as electric smell and signs of arcing on the small control panel pcb. Crazy, but can't remember if this on/off switch has a mecahnical latching on/off action or not, but my wife seems to recall it did and that...

    Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT6053 On/Off Fault

Thanks for info. PNC is 911939002. I'm about to access the switch etc and have a play about for anything obvious. Maybe I can just wedge the switch down and see if everything still works properly before sehlling out £140! Seems that it's juts not handshaking properly with the control board.

    Zanussi Dishwasher ZDT6053 On/Off Fault

Pressing & holding the On/Off button causes the indicator lights to work correctly, but as soon as you remove finger from the spring loaded button, all the lights go off. Would guess that on/off button should electronically latch via the control board. Have removed mains power for 60 secs in the...

Honeywell C Plan Problems with Additional Back Boiler

Probably getting out of my depth, sorry! Have looked at C Plan data from Honeywell which specifies the 4043H as it needs the aux contacts to interface tank stat etc. And looked at 4043B data which states it definitely doesn't have the aux contacts available. Also contacted Honeywell about the...

Honeywell C Plan Problems with Additional Back Boiler

Sadly don't think I can change to 4043B version as that doesn't have the aux contact which closes when valve fully open, as required by C Plan. Only B & H versions have aux contact it seems. Ahthough not relevant, present valve is actually a Satchwell SM3203 variant equivalent to Honeywell.

Honeywell C Plan Problems with Additional Back Boiler

Thanks for the offer to help and invitation to email. Attached hopefully is sketched and scanned piping schematic of my system (don't think I can post this on the forum). Certain you are familiar with Honeywell C Plan - basically it shuts off gravity feed to cylinder and also inhibits...

Honeywell C Plan Problems with Additional Back Boiler

New to this, unsure how to post a drawing onto the forum without a bit of help! The valve is conventional C plan type with limit switches so has to be driven in either direction. It is not spring return. Sorry, caused confusion about rads. What I meant is back boiler 2 x pipes to CH / rad...

Honeywell C Plan Problems with Additional Back Boiler

We've an oldish oil fired boiler with gravity indirect HW and pumped CH. When we moved in, no full independednt control of HW and CH, so fitted C Plan with 2 port valve because we often want CH without HW. We also have open fire with semi redundant back boiler - in the past connections to rads...
