Hi - no - freezer would only maintain around -8. Compressor also got very noisy. Didn't have confidence that there would be a cost effective repair after already having an engineer out. So I decided to cut my losses and buy a new one. Sold the old one for spares on ebay.

Did anyone manage to fix theirs? I've got similar problem - freezer was only getting to around -8 regardless of set temp, display would show the set temp rather than actual. Had an engineer round today, topped up the gas. If I set temp to -24, it gets to about -19 but then when compressor...
