Turbo lag is not as prominent in a modern car as it was lets say 20 years ago.

Cool, I thought that after a period of time the whole tank would have heated up but it makes perfect sense now. Better go and buy a longer heater. Thanks.

Evening! Had to replace our old immersion heater as our Switch head unit had failed. I bought a replacement before removing the failed unit and going by model number of the previous unit I assumed I needed a 27" heater. On removing the old unit I found it was probably either a 33" or 36"...
