I have a 1 or 2 kW Dimplex fan heater to install in the bathroom. I intended to use an existing fused spur but have worked out it is fed from the existing upstairs lighting circuit. Is it ok to use ? Do I need a qualified electrician to make the connection ?

I'm looking to add TRV's to all my radiators, but have been told it is usual to leave one radiator without one. Is this correct ? CH system is conventional, Potterton boiler with expansion tank in attic , cylinder in airing cupboard... regards Simon
