It only trips when the switch and shower are on, I'll have a look at the inside when I get home, thanks!

We had to replace the switch in the bathroom for the shower as the pull cord snapped. Since we replaced it the shower has started tripping the related switch in the main fuse box. Is there a problem with the shower or have we bought the wrong kind of switch? Any advice would be appreciated!
