Yep checked this too, all enabled. It appears the call is not even getting to the Hik-Connect software, all alerts for motion work ok, so im thinking its something in the doorbell configuration itself.

So i have changed my output setting to 'Doorbell' but dont have a chime connected to it. Are you saying that you need to have an external chime fitted for it to trigger events (doorbell presses) to Hik-Connect?

This is what i want to emulate. How did you get alerts on Hik-Connect working? Oh, also I have the doorbell connected direct to the NVR (with the NVR providing PoE) and this works great. No need for a seperate PoE switch in between the two.

I ended up buying the DS-KV6114-WBE1 unit. Got it working to the NVR ok. Had to use HiTools to initilise the camera and set IP etc. Having an absolute nightmare trying to work out how to get the doorbell press to actually create an alert on Hik-Connect. Cant seem to find any relevant settings...
