Baxi 700 system. I've gone ahead and fitted a switch between 2 and 3 and that's got heating on. Not sure what to do about the hot water though

I haven't checked, I honestly don't know how. Stick a multimeter in somewhere presumably?

I've got a replacement coming Tuesday but wouldn't mind a way of getting the heating and hot water on before then It's totally dead, no lights etc. I've got a baxi system boiler and megaflo cylinder. I've attached a photo of the wiring. Thanks for the help.
