I have been wallpapering using Anaglypta Argo paintable wallpaper and panting with Dulux Matt emulsion in “sail white”.
I am finding the painting is drying patchy in areas and appears more when looking across the wall, so I think it’s some of the edges of the embossed pattern.

My walls have been skimmed, with some bonding in places first, and I will be fitting MDF skirting using mostly grab adhesive.
How long should I wait for the plaster to dry before fitting, and is there any need to seal the wall before fitting?
Later this week my living room will be plastered and I will be fitting new 14mm MDF bullnose skirting.

I have recently had some plastering done to walls and ceiling. These will be wallpapered using blown vinyl and patterned paper.
Previously I have used a watered down wallpaper paste to seal the walls but this has always been hit and miss, and not sure if there is anything better to use.

Actually the plumbing pipe idea would work great. I’m thinking a 90 degree fitting on each end of a short length of pipe buried in the wall with the fitting flush or even slightly proud of the finished wall.
