It was like treacle, it just smeared with a spade. It had to come off completely.

Hired a scabbler, took the whole lot off. One of the worst days of my life but done now

Cheers , yeh I did - they said it all needs to come up by shot blasting which is going to be a hell of a mess and expensive, I might just emigrate to Australia :oops:

Thanks for the reply, I have tried this but as the DPM isn't water based (its resin based) it doesn't dry out. Absolute nightmare!! :cry:

Hi, I have layed Ardex DPM 1C on a concrete floor. I don't think we mixed it correctly and it won't dry. We have had heaters in the the room and plenty of ventilation but probably 40% of it hasn't dried, probably due to our poor mixing. Im really desperate to get the tiles down for the customer...
