Yeah i thought as much having looked into it! I doubt he imagined i would take the switch off though... Am i right in thinking the brown should go to the brown and the blue to the sam connector block as the blue? Is that correct?

No i know mate, i actually did that first, 2 browns into the same connector block and then the blues into the same, nothing, dead, not a thing... :cry:

Haha, yes i did change the bulb for one i know is working as i had a "wait a minute" moment! No, this is the first time since the re-wire that anything has been fitted. I guess with so many potential issues ill have to give him a call, problem being he's away darn' sarf' for a few weeks...

Yes there was a light but its all new wiring, we had everything stripped back to the walls then re-wired, plasterboarded, new ceilings, plastered.
