Yes, I worked it out. It is a toggle type of setting. Once you set the required output and save, it will switch back the option to the default, but the output is as selected. Thanks to all.

They arent POC. Cameras have direct supply off a 12v 5amp.

Power to the DVR or to the cameras? The DVR is accessible via the network interface. The cameras have their own power supply and I think they are indeed all on one power source - that may be it. I will check. Many thanks.

Mounted on a hikvision mounting base which is on a wall and exposed. I thought it may be water, but the cables are in the mounting base which should be water proof, no?
