namsag, i was wrong. actually there is a temp indicator. it is not in a gauge format. the boiler is a potterton performa 30he with 2 dials for hw and cw temp control respectively. presently, there is no roomstat. i thought gas4you suggestion of a cm972 sounded good.

by external controls terminals i take it that you meant the honeywell junction box.
may have to come back to you on wiring just to be sure. hope you won't mind.
can anyone advise if it's possible to change a prog. timer from a 1 channel to a 2 channel? if so, will there be wiring problems? i am considering a honeywell st9400c prog and a cm927 wireless prog thermostat.
current setup is a potterton combi he30 directly connected to honeywell st6100a1001...
A straight 15mm for both hot and cold feed is sufficient. Combi boiler should provide adequate pressure. Be selective with your shower head. Some shower head specify higher bpi.
Shut off/isolation is a good option on both feed. This will make any maintenance work a lot easier. In-line value...
