1) Take Earth Conductor that is connected to back box of Socket and connect to the socket plate (along with the earth already connected to it).

Just seen your message Jackrae, i wasnt planning on reconnecting those Live and Neutral wires in 1 & 2 ("TV Socket") but I was planning on taking out the extension flex and not using that switch faceplate until I can get someone out - does this sound fine?

Yeah the two earths connected to the back box and socket seperately (pic 4) are on the bottom socket (ring mains), is this worse or just as bodge-y? Also should i make sure that neutral is firmly reconnected in the back of the faceplate?
