i mean i've seen plasterers use a jointing compound as well as the self adhesive scrim tape. is it worth doing or is it overkill?

This ceiling is 8mx4m, needs boarding first then coving once finished. i'm quoting around £550, thats materials plus 3 days. not sure if i can do skimming in one hit...if i got another trowel to help will bump up price. then i'm worried sounds to pricey?? never sectioned off ceilings in two...

hi, the customer wants me to board over artex and skim. The ceiling is 4mx8m. also needs coving, time wise i could do it in three days. but not really sure what to quoate her. i think materials will be around £100. and if i charged 150 a day that'll b around £550. cheap or pricey?
